About Skintervene

We make advanced mitochondrial skincare in London. One product, formulated properly, with the reasoning published rather than hidden behind adjectives.

Why we exist

Most skincare works on the surface. That is not a criticism — surface work matters, and a good moisturiser plus daily SPF will outperform almost anything else on the shelf. But it is only half the picture.

Skin is metabolically demanding. Every renewal cycle, every repair after UV exposure, every unit of collagen a fibroblast produces costs energy — and that energy comes from mitochondria. Their efficiency declines with age, and that decline runs underneath the visible changes people try to address with surface products.

Skintervene was built around that gap. Hence the name.

How we formulate

• Dosed to the evidence, not the label. Every active is included at a concentration where the research begins — not at a trace level so it can appear in the ingredient list. With methylene blue in particular, correct dosing means a low percentage: the compound reverses behaviour above its effective window.
• Supporting cast, not filler. Eight further actives around the hero: niacinamide, ectoin, tremella, N-acetyl glucosamine, centella asiatica, green tea, beta-glucan, and squalane with panthenol. Each is there for a stated reason.
• Fragrance-free by decision. Fragrance is a leading cause of contact sensitivity and adds nothing to how a formula performs.
• Full disclosure. The complete INCI list is published on the product page and printed on the carton.

Made in London

Skintervene is formulated and manufactured in London under UK cosmetic regulations. That means a Cosmetic Product Safety Report on file, a named Responsible Person, full batch traceability, and compliance with the UK Cosmetics Regulation. It also means short supply lines and the ability to make small batches properly rather than large batches cheaply.

What we will not do

• No medicinal claims. Skintervene is a cosmetic product. It is not a treatment for any medical condition and we will not imply otherwise.
• No borrowed authority. We cite what the research says and are explicit about where it stops.
• No range for the sake of a range. One serum, done properly, until there is a genuine reason for a second product.
